Supper Optimist Members,

It’s that time of year again for club elections.  On the ballot this year will be the following six positions:
- 1 President
- 2 Vice Presidents
- 3 board members

So please mark your calendars with the following two dates:
1) Nomination night: Monday August, 9th at 6:30pm, at the clubhouse, we will hold nominations.  Nominations may be made at the club, or by email until 5:00pm that evening.  Remember, all nominations must be seconded to be considered for election.  To nominate a member for a position, please email their name and suggested position to info@supperoptimist.com.  Email nominations will be read out loud on nomination night to be seconded.
2) Election night: Tuesday August 16th at 6:30pm, at the clubhouse, we will hold elections for those that were nominated.  Members must be present to vote.

Additionally, we’re looking for members to step up and fill these key positions!

Please join us at the Supper Optimist clubhouse on Monday August 2nd for our first August general meeting. All are welcome. During the off season, meetings are held on the first and third Monday of each month.

The Supper Optimist Club is happy to announce that fees for fall ball have been reduced to $40 for the 2010 season.  Any family with financial concerns may of course contact us for special arrangements.

Tonight’s meeting at the clubhouse is open to all. Dinner will be served.

Fall Ball Signups begin Saturday August 7th.

The first day will be Saturday August 7th from 12:00-4:00.  Signups will be held every following Saturday and Sunday in August, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Supper Optimist clubhouse.  The season begins in September.

Due to some rain, the championship games for 8U,11U, and 12U will be held at 6:00pm tonight (Monday June 28th).

The District 3 All Star Tournament will be held at Ogden Park this weekend. It begins Friday at 12:00 noon and ends Sunday at 6:00pm.
