Baseball and Softball. Ages 4 – 16
What are the Typical Season Dates?
Supper Optimist has 2 seasons, Spring and Fall. Our spring season will typically start in late March and conclude in late May. Our Fall Season is from mid September till the end of October. Spring registration typically opens mid December and fall registration in mid July.
Who are you sanctioned under?
Baseball is sanctioned under Little League International and Softball is under Babe Ruth.
What are the age cutoffs?
Age cutoff is August 31
Does Supper offer scholarships or hardships for those who cannot afford to play?
Money will never prevent a kid from playing at Supper Optimist. Please email our staff at info@supperoptimist.com to apply for a hardship. How much is the registration fee?
$100 to $150 dollars, depending on division of play.
When are games played?
Games are played on weeknights, with practices scheduled on weekends. Typically, expect to play 2 games per week. Games start at 5p or 6p for Tee Ball through 6u and 6p or 745p for all other divisions.
What do I need for my child to play?
Shirt and hat are provided for Baseball and shirt and socks are provided for Softball. Players will need to purchase pants and belt and also have a helmet, glove and bat. Prior to the season starting, Dicks Sporting Goods provides a 20% off weekend where you will receive a coupon to help purchase some of these items.
Do you have Allstar Teams?
Yes we do. In 2025 our Baseball 8u and 9u divisions came in runner up in the state tournament. In Softball our 8u, 12u and 14u all won the State Championship with 12u accepting a bid to the World Series in Alabama.
